Bird Dog Development, LLC (“Bird Dog”) is a renewable energy development company focused on helping owner/operators of utility-scale wind farms (and other generators) to maximize the value of their associated interconnection rights through the addition of solar and/or storage via the surplus interconnection process.
In implementing its business model, Bird Dog seeks to:
Work in partnership with the owner/operator of the incumbent wind farm/generator on matters such as sizing optimization and ownership of the surplus interconnection solar and/or storage project
Deploy Bird Dog’s development capital and take development risk associated with the surplus interconnection solar and/or storage project
Partner with landowners in proximity to the incumbent wind farm to maximize the value of their property by leasing their solar and battery energy storage rights
