How We Operate: Landowners

Bird Dog seeks to work with landowners in close proximity to the operating wind farm or generator to which the surplus interconnection solar and/or storage project will be added by negotiating and entering into a solar energy lease option agreement, including the right to develop a battery energy storage system.  In many cases, the target landowners have leased their wind energy rights to the owners of the existing wind farm.  Generally speaking, the leasing of its wind energy rights does not prohibit the landowner from separately leasing its solar and/or energy storage rights provided there is no interference with the wind energy project.
